If you would just like to 'have a go' or are booking a corporate event or clay pigeon shooting stag party or hen party, all of the equipment you need is supplied. Just make sure you wear sensible outdoor clothing and suitable footwear for the weather conditions. Please try to avoid big, bulky ski and puffa jackets, as you will find it difficult to mount the shotgun properly!

Mobile Clay Shoots & Archery

We even offer clay pigeon shooting and Archery in your own grounds or suitable location, providing they have the right facilities. We will run a safety audit before committing and check with the local authorities, but this is a particularly useful service if you book an event or conference at a venue with suitable land. POA.

A typical private clay pigeon shooting tuition session includes the following:

Please don't worry about other people watching during your lesson. The shooting stands that we use are out of the way of other shooters. All the clay pigeon shooting grounds in Kent, Essex & Surrey, have very nice members who encourage people to try shooting, as it is excellent for the sport.

Children & Clay Shooting

This wonderful sport is a fabulous way for children to learn discipline, without them actually realising it! Because we teach safety, safety, oh yes and safety, there is never a moment when the child is not aware how to behave with the shotgun!

I have coached children from as young as 9 years of age, providing they have the physical strength to handle the shotgun. I have a number of small bore guns that will fit a child, from a .410 over and under, 28 gauge over & under to a junior 20 gauge semi auto and over and under (see the 'Parties & Groups' page for pictures).

We recognise talent in our youngsters and it is a reality that if they do well with their clay shooting and wish to go onto competitions, they can represent not just their club but their County, their Region and possibly their Country. 2012 is on the horizon and we win more medals in shooting sports than any other Country.

We regularly run 'Have a Go' sessions for childrens birthday parties! A unique and SAFE treat that will have them talking about it for weeks!

Gun Fitting

Do you own your own shotgun? Have you ever had the gun fitted to you professionally?

  • Are you inconsistently breaking targets?
  • Is the gun is hitting your face?
  • Are you feeling recoil badly?
  • Are you getting bruises on your shoulder/arm or chest area?
  • Is the gun 'canted' (slightly twisted) when you mount it?

    • If you answer yes to one or more of these questions, the chances are that your gun does not fit you properly.

    Clay Targets

    Also known as Clay Pigeons, except they are not made from clay and do not resemble pigeons in the slightest! These targets are more like small, round ashtrays, come in a number of colours and sizes and do not feel a thing!

    Gun Recoil

    Many people, (mostly women) ask me "does the recoil hurt"? In truth, there is an element of gun recoil, but we can reduce and mostly eliminate it by using teaching correct gun mount, using shotguns that are suitable for your stature and supplying recoil pads and shooting 'vests' that have recoil pads or reducers built into the shoulder area. We even go another step further in reducing the recoil by using lighter load shotgun cartridges, reducing and in most cases eliminating gun recoil, making your shooting experience a pleasurable one! Why not give it a go?
