Directions From the Essex side of the river: Go over the QE2 Bridge river crossing and get into the lanes on the left for the toll booths on the left side and take the FIRST immediate exit off the motorway Junction 1A which will be straight in front of you as you go through the left hand booths, signposted Swanscombe/Erith. Get into the left hand lane and you will arrive at the top of the ramp at traffic lights. Keep in the left lane and bear left at the lights, then go straight through the next set of lights onto Bob Dunn Way A206 (still in the direction of Erith), passing the Holiday Inn Express on your left. Keep the big chimney to your right. Go straight over the first roundabout and then at the second roundabout, take the second exit into a T junction.
Directions From the South Side: Take the M25 to junction 1a, the last exit immediately before the Dartford tolls (Swanscombe/Erith) and bear left at the top of the ramp through the traffic lights, past the Holiday Inn Express on your left Bob Dunn Way A206 (still in the direction of Erith). Keep the big chimney to your right. Go straight over the first roundabout and then at the second roundabout, take the second exit into a T junction.
The T junction is the start of Joyce Green Lane. At the T junction, turn left and follow the ‘Riverside Motor Cross' signs, through the gate, past the farm and travel the entire length of Joyce Green Lane until you reach some more gates in approx 1 mile . Turn right through the gates and head towards the big log-cabin like building. This is our clubhouse.
The map shows the start of Joyce Green Lane, you must travel along it for at least 1 mile until you reach our club.

Via the M25. Take the M11 turnoff at Junction 27. Take the J7 exit off M11 for the A414 in the direction of Chelmsford. Straight over the first two roundabouts. At the third roundabout (Four Wantz, Ongar) turn left towards Fyfield on the B184. After approx two miles you'll come into Fyfield Village. Look out for the Queen's Head Pub, set back a little on the right by the Village Store Post Office. Turn right here. Follow the road around a sharp left-hand bend over a small bridge, to a church where you turn immediately right, into Cannon's Lane. (Please drive slowly; children tend to play in the road).
At the end of the lane turn left up a private track. Essex Shooting Ground is signposted on the gate. The track is very bumpy and quite long so beware! At the top of the track you'll meet an airfield runway, (look out for aircraft before crossing) cross straight over and bear left into our car park.
By Rail to: Ongar. No service to Ongar. Closest stations are Brentwood and Harlow. direct from Liverpool Street Station.
